Welcome to Bunk-a-Biker!

We are worldwide community of motorcycle riders who voluntarily provide accommodations and road support to traveling bikers. All riders and motorcycle styles are welcome to join! BaB is free to use and will always remain free so that we can stick to our focus: bringing people together over our common love of motorcycles.

What the map pin colors mean:

Each pin color on the map has a specific meaning:
🟢GREEN is for outside/camping space
🔴RED is for inside space
🟣PURPLE means the host has both
🔵BLUE is for people who can't host, but can help in others ways like breakdown assistance, local info, or motorcycle shops that prioritize travelers.

How to contact a host:

  1. 1

Find a host on the map that is along your travels

Hosts may not be conveniently located on your route, so be prepared to go a little out of your way to meet a new friend.

  2. 2

Contact the host via their preferred method

In your message, be sure to include your name, "I found you on Bunk-a-Biker", when you're trying to stay with them, and who's with you. Be forthcoming! But we aware, cell carriers will block texts with photos and links so wait until the host responds to send those.

  3. 3

    Communicate

It's best to ask a host to stay with them 1-3 days in advance. As the time gets closer, keep them up to date on your arrival or if you can't make it. A "NO CALL, NO SHOW" can affect whether other hosts will host you in the future.

You can be a guest, a host, both, or neither

Many of our members are either a traveler OR a host, but it takes both for BaB to exist. All we ask is that you are a respectful guest and that if you host, you are enthusiastic about it. Even if you can't ride anymore due to health reasons or other life circumstances, you are still welcome to be a host with us.

We started on Facebook, but social media is optional

The map is open to all members, but we encourage you to join our Facebook groups to check out posts from members who are staying with hosts, share your experiences with our hosts/guests, and connect with your fellow hosts. The more you share about your experiences with Bunk-a-Biker, the more people will get involved!
